CapitalStream Cracks Prestigious 'Software 500' List

Top online business financing company alone among its peers in being recognized by Software Magazine listing

Seattle - July 19, 2000
- Capital Stream, Inc., an e-commerce provider of real-time services and tools for the business finance industry, today announced that the company has been listed in Software Magazine's 18th annual "Software 500" list. After experiencing dramatic growth in 1999 resulting in $8.5 billion worth of transaction volume, the company garnered 497th place in the rankings.

"It's an honor to be recognized with the world's premier software companies," said CapitalStream President and CEO Stephen Campbell. "Because our products and services uniquely address the e-business needs of the $5 trillion global commercial finance industry, CapitalStream has been able to grow rapidly."

The "Software 500" is based on total worldwide software and software-related services revenue. The ranking includes both public and private companies, and figures are based on revenues for a full calendar year. Now in its eighteenth year, the "Software 500" is used as a top industry scorecard for evaluating software companies and informing customers on the latest trends.

CapitalStream makes it possible for all links in the financial supply chain, including financing companies, manufacturers, and B2B e-commerce firms, to automate processes, better serve customers and expand into new markets using the efficiencies of the Internet. The company boasts a diverse base of 600 customers, including Textron Financial Corporation, Fisher-Anderson L.C., Provident Capital and Admiralty Leasing.
