CapitalStream Announces the Release of Improved Credit Management within CapitalStream.com

Optional module allows subscribers to process deals in less time by incorporating their own business rules into an automated process for handling credit applications.

Seattle, WA – March 9, 2001
– CapitalStream today announced enhancements to its Credit Management module for CapitalStream.com that will provide subscribers with greater flexibility and faster processing times when managing credit applications. The module uses a unique graphical tool, called the Flowchart Editor, which allows CapitalStream customers to incorporate their current credit decisioning and workflow business rules into an automated credit management process that’s activated when an application is submitted through CapitalStream.com.

Once submitted, data from the credit application is compared to the business rules in the Flowchart Editor. The Flowchart Editor automatically makes approve or decline decisions and recommendations on credit applications, forwards the application to another user, changes application status, or forwards the application to another program or organization, as defined by the CapitalStream subscriber.

The Credit Management module allows users to quickly and easily apply both simple and complex business rules to each one of their financial programs. It provides faster service to originators via automated credit decisions, more efficient workflow and a single point of access for credit reports.

“Our Credit Management feature allows customers to inject their own business rules into the credit evaluation process for every program they offer without costly and time-consuming customization or consulting fees,” said Stephen Campbell, CEO of CapitalStream. “Now our customers can provide faster, more accurate, decisions that speed up internal workflow while saving time and resources.”
